Our Story

In February 2007, friends Susan Piper and Janet George embarked on a transformative journey to India. Inspired by the rich textiles, intricate jewelry, and vibrant culture they encountered, they envisioned bringing these unique treasures to their community. This shared passion led to the creation of East India Designs, which has since evolved into The Silk Road – now owned by Susan Piper.
